A modified Toyota Supra has set a world record for speed over a quarter mile in Bahrain. The record named, the ‘World Import Speed Record’ was set at the 2014/2015 Bahrain National Drag Racing Championship, with the Supra built by EKanoo Racing managing to race through the sprint in 6.05 seconds at 240 mph. Yes, you have read correctly… the car managed to hit a top speed of 240 mph within 6.05 seconds!
The car sported the classic Supra six-engine, but we’re sure it had a turbocharger the size of a truck! The video is available online and it’s reminiscent of a scene from The Fast and Furious!
