The 2014 Cadillac ELR started out, like many, as a concept car but it’s now very much in production. It has a completely new design though you still get that typical chrome Caddy grill. Everything on the car look seems aerodynamic and the ELR certainly has a futuristic feel to it.
This is even the case inside, and you get a remarkably sharp dashboard, sharp gear stick and luxury leather seating. The lights are rather point too and it all work to for a seamless design. It also combines pure electric drive with a 1.4 litre gas engine so it’s fuel efficient.
It may not be the quickest caddy but it certainly is not the slowest either, and it has a top speed of 106mph and you can go from 0-60mph in 7.8 seconds. The Cadillac ELR would fit in on British streets because it is incredibly compact and that means the handling is superb even on tight windy roads.
